In September 2017 St.Peter’s boldly launched a new character based curriculum called “VIP” (Values in Practice). The programme has now been rolled out to all year groups receiving 1 hour per fortnight for years 8-11 and 1 hour a week for year 7. 

The VIP curriculum meets the needs of St.Peter’s students, delivers all statutory RSE and PSHE, and most importantly of all, does so through the lens of our Christian ethos. The religious background of pupils has been taken into account when planning teaching and topics are appropriately handled.

As the programme of study develops and grows it will continue to be developed around the St.Peter’s Character Compass.
