Ten Tors - New Year - New Weather

A stoke of luck blessed our first walk of 2024 with our teams enjoying a beautiful blue sky around a 18km circular loop of Fernworthy Reservoir. We started at Postbridge and walked up the East Dart to Sittaford before heading East around the Fernworthy which has seen quite the reduction in the forest since our visit last year. 

Whilst navigating was less challenging than our last walk the teams continued to show good progress and were challenged by elephant grass, boggy and soft ground. Our walkers were also carrying larger packs with heavier loads as they build up difficulty in distance of walks and kit carried.

Well done to our walkers who continue their journey of building skills, fitness and endurance.
