National youth orchestra visit to St Peter's. 

At the end of last week we had the great privilege of hosting the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain. This was the first time that the NYO has visited the southwest and we at St Peter's are proud to have been selected to host the event. 

The orchestra gave an incredible concert to the whole of year 7 as well as GCSE music students in year 9. As part of the day they also ran workshops for orchestral musicians from St Peter's and other schools in the surrounding area. Members of the orchestra also toured the school in small groups, going into lessons and giving short impromptu concerts as well as a 'play out' for students at the end of the day!
