Youth Ultimate Summit 2024

Ultimate Frisbee is played by an estimated 7 million people in more than 80 countries. St.Peter’s has a rich tradition in the sport and following another successful domestic season, the Air Badgers received an invite to compete in an international competition - the Youth Ultimate Summit in Malmo. The team of 14 travelled out to Sweden on Sunday night and played in the Under 17 elite tournament with a determination for something to “come home” this Summer!

After 2 days of fierce competition and 6 x 70 minute games, the Air Badgers became the first UK junior club side to win a European tournament becoming Youth Ultimate Summit Champions 2024.

During the trip they received a customised clinic on throwing and cutting from one of the best Ultimate players in the world - Rowan McDonnell. All students were a huge credit to the school and whilst the football might not have come home, the frisbee certainly did! Malmo 2025 anyone?
