Changes to Online Payments

Dear Parent / Carer,
As part of the ongoing effort to improve the information and communication the school provides, we will shortly be changing our management information system (MIS). Our MIS underpins all aspects of the school’s data processing systems. The company that we will be using for this new system from the 27th of January is called Bromcom.
As part of this process, we will be moving our parent app from School Gateway to My Child At School (MCAS) which you may already be familiar with. We expect parents to be able to register and access MCAS from Friday 24th January when more information and sign-up details will be sent to you. MCAS will be used for communications, payments (including School Meals) and much more.
For us to switch over as easily as possible, we will be freezing the ability to top up dinner money and pay for trips via School Gateway at the end of this week - Friday 17th January. We have been advised that during the changeover, you may not be able to see your child's school meals balance on MCAS, but please rest assured that the correct balance will remain on the canteen system. In the meantime, we ask that you aim to keep your current school meals balance low, and that any top-ups required after Friday are done via cash using the top up points in school.
We aim to have payments up and running on MCAS as soon as possible after the 24th of January and payments for trips and equipment will also move over soon after this date.
