Carnegie Shadowing Award

Recently, some of our KS3 students got the opportunity to visit Stover school to take part in the Carnegie Medal Shadowing. They have been reading some of the books shortlisted for the prestigious Carnegie Medal for Writing and created a presentation on one book – The Blue Book of Nebo. The students presented their chosen book to 6 other schools from across south Devon. They also had the opportunity to meet the author Chris Vick, ask him questions and hear him talk about his writing. The girls were absolutely brilliant, and we all had a fantastic time.
