Go4SET launch at The National Marine Aquarium Plymouth
BackNews - 4th Feb 2020
Year 8 and 9 students enjoyed a busy day at the aquarium learning all about the Go4SET scheme.
They met their industry mentors from Arcadis and the Met. Office, and decided on a their project choices. Go4SET is a 10 week long scheme organised by the Engineering Development Trust. Our students will research, design and build a model of either an eco-hotel or a school on an island and In June they will present their work, written report and display to a team of judges. All students taking part are working towards their bronze industrial cadets award.
Our students showed great use of the character habits today working together to complete a code challenge. They also had time to explore all of the aquarium exhibits before heading back to school.
