U14 Netball Tournament – Okehampton Invitational

The tournament was played in a group stage format to start. The girls were great and organising themselves to play and conducted themselves in a professional manner.

Results were:

St Peter’s 13 – 4 Okehampton

St Peter’s 8 – ISCA 2

St Peter’s 8 – QE 5

They then progressed as winners of the group and went on to play Holsworthy in a semi-final.

Some strong shooting from Lottie with good rebound work from the supportive shooters meant the result of the semi-final was:

St Peter’s 11 – 3 Holsworthy. Iris and Jessie turned loads of interceptions over in the defensive third to support the attacking play!

The final was tightly fought with a high standard of netball throughout. It was an end-to-end game which could have gone either way. The centre court players worked really hard to try and break down play early.

The final ended St Peter’s 3 – 4 Teign.

Well done to all players on the 2^nd place finish. A pleasure to spend the day with!
