A hat trick of awards for St Peter’s Careers!

St Peter’s are the first school in the country to be awarded a Gold Award in the Bright Ideas Scheme for their unique approach to engaging parents, teachers and students in Careers education in the following areas:

• Gold Award for Careers for Parents – an evening specifically designed to help parents to learn more about the world of the Gatsby Benchmarks, the local labour market and qualifications post 16 (inclusive of T Levels).
• Gold Award for Supportive Careers Fair – a targeted careers fair for our most educationally vulnerable students who were recognised as needing a more personalised careers fair. “A really great example of a school ensuring all students are included in their careers programme.” Nicky Henderson Operational Hub Lead for Devon
• Bronze Award for Careers in Subjects Noticeboards – every department in the school created and updated the career pathways for their subject. Judges were impressed by the stunning array of subject displays not only sharing vital next steps but also a wealth of new job opportunities that students might never have thought of!
