English Department’s Summer Reading Challenge

The English department loved browsing and selecting some new books for our school. We aimed to choose a range of fiction and non-fiction books to suit different ages, interests, and purposes, since we wanted books that could be included in schemes of learning or recommended to students. We also hoped to select books that represent different diverse groups of people, so that hopefully our students feel represented in the literature they are reading. We will now read these books over the summer, ready to share with our school community in September.
